ABOUT US

We are so excited for our upcoming season! Music City All-Stars is a competitive program established 13 years ago in Middle Tennessee. Our studio has quickly grown in the last six years, and we continue to venture to make room for our growing program. Co-owners, Kirstin Hawk and Valerie Reynolds, recognized the need to prepare dancers for all avenues of dance upon graduation while providing a positive and family environment along the way. Music City All Stars now offers 50+ different team classes each week. From the most competitive, to those that use dance as an enjoyable activity, we have opportunities for everyone! Our initiative as a studio is to give our dancers well-rounded training in all styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, pom, lyrical and acro.

MCAS has created a name for itself, not just regionally, but nationally as well. MCAS has been named one Top 5 of the best small gym of the year in our industry awards. This past year, Music City All Stars was extremely successful on the competition floor. The senior team has been chosen the past nine years to represent the United States at the USASF Dance Worlds competition held in Orlando, FL. Our Senior Team is currently ranked 4th in the world! Our Junior Team was chosen as 1 of 6 teams this year to represent the United States in the Junior division at the USASF Junior Dance Worlds. Our Junior Team is currently ranked in the Top 10 in the world. We could not be more proud of these devoted dancers!!

Our staff consists of professionally trained dancers, many of whom are previous professional/college dancers with a strong teaching experience. Not only does our staff encourage the dancers to shine in their artistic performances, but also within their academic performance. We are pleased to say that our Senior Travel Team has an average GPA of 4.0! Our intention is to provide exceptional dance training to all kinds of dancers, including those without a dance background. We strive to help dancers achieve their goals, even when it seems impossible. We pride ourselves in finding a place for every dancer. We are beyond proud of the program we have created, and we are even more awe-inspired by each and every dancer that makes up our MCAS Dance Family.

The amount of pride, teamwork and respect we see from the coaches to all the girls on her team really show us that she is not just part of a team, but a family.
